Currency
It is much better to bring sterling (£) with you to North Cyprus and then change it at one of the many exchange bureax in Kyrenia town centre, as you will get a much better exchange rate than in the UK.

Passports
You need at least 6 months remaining on your UK passport to visit Northern Cyprus. People with non UK passports need to get a visa from their nearest embassy before travelling to North Cyprus. You do not need to worry about having your passport stamped on arrival as they will give you a slip of paper to stamp and keep at Ercan airport.
